First Advisor/Founder – Board of Trustee of Yayasan Tropenbos Indonesia, Dicky Simorangkir is Environment, Forestry, and Climate Change (EFCC) Specialist, Food Agricultural Organization (FAO), in Dhaka, Bangladesh. 

 

The former Director of Tropenbos International Indonesia Programme for the periode of 2003-2007 has various working experiences in international institutions in several countries including ASEAN Member States (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippine, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam), Timor Leste, Japan, Germany, USA, and The Netherlands.

 

Dicky obtained his BSc from Faculty of Forestry, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Indonesia, and MSc and PhD from Faculty of Forestry, Georg-August Universität Göttingen, Germany.

 

 

The Supervisory Board member of Yayasan Tropenbos Indonesia Haryanto R. Putro is lecturer and researcher for Faculty of Forestry of Bogor Agriculture University since 1985. He is also a consultant in the formulation of Guideline for Facilitator in Assessment of Management Effectiveness in Protected Area for USAID – Lestari since October 2016 and former consultants for ADB, World Bank, and UNDP.

 

He obtained his BSc from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Indonesia, majoring in Forestry with specialization in Forestry Ecology and Wildlife Management, and his MSc from the same university in the field of Natural Resources and Environmental Management.
